1st Midsomer Norton Scout Group
Behaviour Code
We, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts of the 1st Midsomer Norton Scout Group undertake to keep the following behaviour code:
We will come along to Beavers/Cubs/Scouts to enjoy ourselves and have fun, understanding we all need to respect each other and the Cub/Scout Law and Promise which we have made.
Beavers/Cubs/Scouts come to meetings regularly, on time and in proper uniform.
Beavers/Cubs/Scouts join in and work as a team particularly when in Lodges/Sixes/Patrols.
Leaders and Beavers/Cubs/Scouts listen to and respect each other.
No one makes fun of anyone else because of his or her colour, religion or level of ability.
There is no bullying, harassment or picking on others particularly younger children.
No one makes a noise or causes disruption during quiet times like inspection, flag break or flag down, when game rules are being explained, or when a Leader requests silence.
Beavers/Cubs/Scouts accept instructions from Leaders including their Patrol Leaders or Sixers.
No one deliberately breaks the rules, or disrupts games or activities.
We all recognise Scouting involves a training programme and no disruption will take place during instruction periods.
In any game invoking elimination (someone being out) then the Beaver/Cub/Scout accepts the decision if given against them.
If warned about unacceptable behaviour, it will stop immediately.
No Beaver/Cub/Scout will deliberately damage another’s property or property belonging to 1st Midsomer Norton Scout Group.
A copy of the 1st Midsomer Norton Behaviour Policy is posted at the Scout Hall.
